Frequently asked questions.

When will my athlete have practice?

After try-outs, we'll release the practice schedules the Sunday after try-outs once we have a clear count of the teams for the upcoming season. Normally, teams can expect to practice 2-3 times a week, with practices lasting 1.5-2 hours each.

Do practices stay the same all season?

To simplify things for athletes and parents, practice schedules will remain consistent throughout the entire season, including summer sessions. However, there may be occasions, at the coach's discretion, where adjustments or additional practices are necessary to ensure teams are adequately prepared for competitions.

When will practices start?

Team practices will begin immediately on the first Monday following try-outs.

Are all practices mandatory?

Given the collaborative nature of our sport, it's mandatory for all athletes to participate in every team practice. The absence of even one athlete can disrupt the entire practice, affecting the ability of stunt groups to train effectively and causing potential issues with pyramid formations, among other negative impacts on team dynamics.

What happens if my athlete misses a practice?

We recognize that athletes may face unexpected illnesses or last-minute conflicts. However, if an athlete needs to miss a practice, it's imperative they inform the gym owner and/or director as soon as possible. Any missed summer practices must be pre-approved. Additionally, starting August 1st, there will be a $15 fee per missed practice added to the athletes account, which increases to $60/missed practice the week of a competition. They'll also need to attend a make-up session with their stunt group. Consistent absence may result in the athlete's position in the routine being altered or their removal from the team altogether.
